Charlotte, NC – Members of the Charlotte Tweetup group met on March 10 at Lebowski’s Grill and Pub on East Blvd. for their monthly “tweet up,” a gathering of people from the social media website Twitter.com.
Charlotte Tweetup, or @CLTweetup as they’re known on Twitter, is a networking group created though the use of Twitter and social media. It is made up of Charlotte-area professionals who gather at least once a month to network and socialize at local restaurants, hotels and businesses. The group averages approximately 45-50 attendees at each event. The number of attendees is often capped due to space constraints.
The group has a special interest in supporting local businesses and charitable causes, especially those that are involved with social media.
