CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Charlotte-Mecklenburg police say a man with a violent criminal history is on the run.
Christopher Gleaton is accused of breaking into cars parked at shopping centers in the Ballantyne area in broad daylight.
Charlotte-Mecklenburg police say Gleaton has a history of attacking officers. He’s spent time in federal prison.
Gleaton is 6 feet tall and 180 pounds.
