Public invited for free fun, food and giveaways at the funkiest place for parties, camps and cool classes
Ballantyne, NC – FunkyTown Parties, located at 8155 Ardrey Kell Rd. in The Fountains Shopping Center, announces the opening of its first location, and invites the public to party for
free from 2 to 8 p.m. on Saturday, May 22. A DJ will be spinning funky tunes for the family, and there will be giveaways, food and special performances.
FunkyTown Parties is the brainchild of owners Jennifer Mosblech and Erin Zitelli-Davis, who saw a need for a unique party facility that catered to families with older children. They founded FunkyTown Parties to provide entertaining and educational fun in a hip, engaging environment.
Each FunkyTown party is designed as a one-of-a-kind experience for each child. Children pick their own party theme, music, games, favors and more. FunkyTown not only has the hippest club scene, but also has four flat-screen TVs wired for Wii gaming. And, as children party, parents are invited to relax in the FunkyTown Lounge, where free coffee, tea, refreshments and Wi-Fi are available.
“We want to make sure there is something for everyone,” said Erin Zitelli-Davis. “With fine attention to detail and fun, each FunkyTown party promises to be an event to remember for parents and children, alike.”
FunkyTown classes and camps are led by independent instructors and entertainers who are experienced experts in their fields. Classes and camps offered include DJ mixing, B-Boy dancing, comedy acting, yoga, funky fitness, BEAKERbuddies Science, Mr.Nigel’s Music and Dance, photography, modeling and fashion, as well as etiquette.
“Because FunkyTown hosts a variety of monthly and quarterly events and seminars, all members of the family will benefit from our services,” said Davis. “We feel that by providing fun-filled events and educational seminars throughout the year, it will keep FunkyTown fresh and exciting, and will encourage bonding between children and parents.”
“We are thrilled to open a place that is not just another bounce house,” said Jennifer Mosblech. “We want children and parents to enjoy every unique experience they encounter at FunkyTown.”
