Every December during Birthday Blessings holiday parties at area homeless shelters, needy children and families are treated to family photos, which are taken, printed, and provided as gifts in frames or frame craft kits that children create. This year, that annual party [...] A large group of volunteers came out the support Birthday Blessing yesterday at Gymboree in Torringdon. Kids and adults were stuffing stockings, wrapping gifts packing boxes with gifts for local children in area shelters.
Stockings and gifts were sorted by age and gender and will be used this month at area holiday [...] Birthday Blessings, a nonprofit organization that celebrates the lives of homeless children.
