When the key card is placed into the slot the room “knows” you are in and allows the use of the lights and upon exiting the room when you remove your key, the lights automatically power down. Another up side to this is that you will always know where your room key is so no hunting all over when you head out.
The Aloft also offers some great family friendly perks such as “Camp Aloft”. This is a “kid-tastic adventure” that includes your own child’s aloft bed in a bag, special treats and fun food faves for even the pickiest of eaters.
